Ba Na Hills in the Truong Son Mountains one hour west of Danang. It was founded by French colonists in 1919 and now has a cable car that carries tourists to and from the resort. In 2013 the Ba Na Cable Car was designated as the longest non-stop single track cable car at 5801 meters in length.
Ba Na Hills is an attraction that will take your breath away with activities, picturesque views, gardens, spiritual centers, architecture, family entertainment and exquisite restaurants with flavors to soothe your palate.
A few of the highlights to experience are:
Debay Ancient Wine Cellar—it sits deep in the mountain, dug by French architects in 1923. It is 100m long and always kept at ideal temperature from 16 degree to 20 degree Celsius.
French Village—this architectural work of ancient French villages holds a square, church, town, villages, and hotels.

Le Jardin D’Amour—nine different gardens with their own story and architectural style. For you plant lovers, imagine yourself in the midst of nine gardens of exotic plants and flowers.
Ba Na Hills Funicular—this is the ‘climbing mountain train’ built by a Swiss company in June 2013. The system can reach the climbing speed of 5 m/s, move on a railway of 400m with the transporting capacity of up to 1600 guests per hour.
Tickets for children and adults vary from 300,000 – 650,000 VND. Some conditions apply. If you are a resident of Danang and can prove it, your ticket is reduced significantly.
